Last Day: Youth Educators/Mentors – Enter for chance to celebrate International Day of Forests with the UN in Rome
The 2019 theme for the International Day of Forests is ‘Forests and Education’ and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations wants the world to know how you educate children and youth about the importance of trees and forests.
Teachers and anyone who works with young people to bring an understanding and awareness of forests and their benefits into children’s lives at an early age are invited to submit a video, up to 60 seconds in length, documenting that activity for a chance to celebrate the International Day of Forests on March 21, 2019 at the agency’s offices, in Rome, Italy.
Videos should 60 seconds or less, uploaded to YouTube, then submit the link via the entry form at http://www.fao.org/international-day-of-forests/teachers-contest/submission-form/en/.
Deadline for entries is Dec. 15, 2018.
