Huckleberry Haven Hike. Difficulty: Easy. Length: 1 mile. Learn about the berries that have 
sustained people and wildlife in the Cascades for thousands of years. Includes traditional uses of berries and how to distinguish between edible and non-edible berries This is a great hike for families. Please bring a berry container. Preregistration is required.
Tours and they fill up quickly. Register at www.recreation.gov or call 1-877-444-6777 (search or ask for “Sweet Home Nature and Heritage Tours”). Most tour fees are $10 per person ($5 with a Senior or Access Pass), plus a $1 service charge. Request for refunds must be made at least 2 weeks prior to the date of the tour.

Sweet Home Ranger District “Heritage Hikes” are offered under the Recreation Fee Program authorized by The Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act (FLREA). Fees are collected to fund protection and enhancement of local historic sites for public use and enjoyment, and for the continuation of conservation education programs.
