Art in Nature – Art from Nature. After a long spring & summer of adventure, bring your reference photos & creative materials of your choice to join us for a day of “Arting” indoors, at the Sweet Home Ranger District. If you are interested but don’t know where to start, Lisa Chase will be on hand offering artistic guidance, hints, & advice as needed. She is happy to provide you materials to give watercolor a try! Bring your reference pics, a lunch, creative spirit, & make sure to remember, “When

Preregistration is required. Tours and they fill up quickly. Register at www.recreation.gov or call 1-877-444-6777 (search or ask for “Sweet Home Nature and Heritage Tours”). Most tour fees are $10 per person ($5 with a Senior or Access Pass), plus a $1 service charge. Request for refunds must be made at least 2 weeks prior to the date of the tour.

Sweet Home Ranger District “Heritage Hikes” are offered under the Recreation Fee Program authorized by The Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act (FLREA). Fees are collected to fund protection and enhancement of local historic sites for public use and enjoyment, and for the continuation of conservation education programs.
